Brendan “Darcee” Pierce takes over as Head of Training

I am pleased to announce that “Darcee” has accepted the post of Head of Training at ITTC. Formerly Deputy Head of Training, Brendan has amply demonstrated his competence and leadership since joining the company. Brendan is a former Royal Canadian Air Force qualified Fighter Weapons Instructor and has gained over 2300 hours of flying experience to date of which most has been on jet aircraft to include 1300 on the CF-18 Hornet. Highlights of his military career include combat experience flying in Iraq in 2015, multiple NATO deployments and completing the RCAF Fighter Weapons Instructor Course in 2017. As a Fighter Weapons Instructor he gained Mission Commander and Mass Attack experience in many LFE / COMAO exercises. He also gained instructional experience being employed as an instructor at the CF-18 Operational Training Unit as well as teaching on multiple Fighter Weapons Instructor Courses before leaving the RCAF. He has flown CF-18 Hornet, CT-156 Harvard II, CT-155 Hawk, L-39C, Boeing 737NG. Since joining ITTC he participated in Fighter Lead-In Training instruction and 2021 Fighter Weapons Instructor Course held in Canada and in Thailand where he had the opportunity to provide tactical instruction on the JAS-39 Gripen.
