The Student Experience
North Bay, Ontario, Canada, is a dynamic northern community of approximately 53,000 residents, ideally situated between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake. The city is strategically located at the junction of Highways 11, 17, and 63, approximately three hours from Toronto and 3.5 hours from Ottawa. North Bay is well connected by road, rail, and air, and is home to Northern Ontario’s longest 10,000-foot runway, supporting a wide range of aircraft operations and providing exceptional aerospace accessibility.
VIA Rail and regional bus services connect North Bay to major centres across Ontario, while the North Bay Jack Garland Airport (YYB) offers convenient commercial and charter access. Within the city, public transit services operate throughout the community, providing accessible transportation options for residents and students.
Our Student Administrator and Pastoral Care team help students find suitable housing, car rentals, schools for families, and adjust to the Canadian climate. ITTC ensures that students (and families) are comfortably settled in and students are ready to learn at the pilot school successfully.
