ITTC Continues Commitment to Carbon Offsets
The Great Bear Forest Carbon Project
ITTC Canada has committed to purchasing 3,567 tonnes of carbon offsets from the Great Bear Forest Carbon Project in British Columbia to address its estimated 2025 aviation-related greenhouse gas emissions, continuing a partnership it has maintained annually since 2022.
The Great Bear Forest Carbon Project protects one of the world’s largest intact coastal temperate rainforests and was the first forest carbon project developed on First Nation territory with unextinguished Aboriginal rights and title in North America. As ITPS Canada delivers specialized flight test and tactical airborne training that strengthens the sovereign capability of Canada and its allies, this continued investment reflects the organization’s commitment to sustainable operations and meaningful climate action.
